Cortland Lex

I am a current resident at Cortland Lex and I have had such a positive experience this far. The premise is kept clean daily. The maintenance staff is very prompt to respond to any requests and actually find a resolution to any issues. The management staff is friendly and approachable with any questions and concerns. The apartment complex offers many useful amenities such as the pool, gym, tennis courts and dog park. The apartments are large in size when measuring in square footage. The amenities inside the apartments are all in working order and they do a great job at maintaining them. I love my overall apartment and the space. Living at Cortland Lex has been an absolute pleasure and I plan to live here long term due to the excellent premise and staff.

I've been living at Cortland Lex since July 2022, and I really enjoy it. The apartments are well-maintained and get renovated for each new resident. Maintenance is super fast and efficient. Whenever we need something, we just submit a service request through Cortland's platform, and the team takes care of it very quickly, usually within 24 hours. The management team is also always helpful in addressing any billing or lease-related inquiries. There are always interesting events organized by the staff where you can get to know your neighbors better. The common areas are nice and well-maintained. I would say the only downside here is that you can't leave your trash on the street in front of your apartment. You have to put the trash in your car and take it to the dumpster past the gate.

The management team led by Chris offers excellent customer service. We had some troubles with our move in but Chris and the team took care of things honorablely and with fairness, which I think can be really hard to find. It's not a new apartment complex obliviously, but the five stars are for the fact that I know if I have any challenges with the apartment or if me and my family can be any more comfortable, the lex team will do what they can to make that happen. With having a young family, that type of piece of mind makes a big difference. Additional points: -Sound does travel easily as some of the other reviews indicate, and I know the neighbors above me are not being loud they are just living regularly. Since we have kids we took a ground floor unit. -cobb/spider webs are present quite throughout so that takes some getting used to. -maintenance team is reliable -every month or so the management team does some type of fun activity or food giveaway, it is always a pleasant experience running into any of them as they are really nice. -gym has a decent amount of equipment all of which work. -the property is maintained well enough though it is on the older side. -neighbors are friendly and welcoming of families, it's a diverse community and people at all different points of life seem to live here. Been living here less than a year and will update at that point.

Pretty much the best you can expect for apartment complex living. Quiet all around with few disruptions. Cortland Lex is mostly filled with professionals, and responsible adults. The walk into downtown Alpharetta was an easy mile walk. Service staff are excellent, incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and quick to respond. Cannot give them enough praise! They stay very busy, but never saw them without a smile or a kind word — and never had a complaint with them or heard one from anyone else. Management and front office are a similar experience: quick to communicate and address any issues. Never felt like the community was caught by surprise or in the dark on any work, news, or rare concern. There are community events I heard were fun, but never had the chance to really take advantage of them. it should be noted that the complex is completely non-smoking and enforced — which is greatly appreciated. The complex is dog friendly, which was great. Having the dog run right there was incredibly convenient. Length of stay: just over a year.

I have lived at Cortland Lex for almost a year and I absolutely love it! The property is beautiful with lots of trees and plantings. It is quiet and respectful and there is everything you could ever want here, including tennis, workout, free yoga on Saturday, swimming pool, events that the office treats us to, and much more. My apartment is so beautiful and open and private. The service is fantastic and anytime I have a request it is completed quickly. My favorite part was meeting Jessica when I first moved in and she made me feel so comfortable. Gary and everyone in the office is great. Highly recommend!

Cortland Lex has been my home for almost 2 years. I have lived in many apartment communities over the years, and the staff here has been by far the kindest and most genuine management team I have ever met. It is rare to find an apartment complex with such a strong leasing staff and maintenance team. The community itself is very peaceful and homey, and I have wonderful neighbors that always stop to chat. The location is also unbeatable! We are within walking distance from both downtown Alpharetta and Wills Park, but far enough away to have a quiet atmosphere. I highly recommend Cortland Lex!
